Here’s to taking an old tradition & replacing it with a slightly modified version.

Did you know there are 3 parts to a gift exchange?

  1. The giving.

  2. The receiving.

  3. The reciprocating.

.Here’s how it works:

  1. Gather your family & closest friends. Your community group or gal pals. Circle up with a group of trusted folks you can squeeze into a living room with.

  2. Everyone: bring a wrapped gift. Made or bought, it’s something that represents what you’ve learned this year. There’s a story & lesson learned behind it. A message of hope. A heart-felt this matters to me.

  3. Draw numbers. Start with one. As each gift is opened, the giver shares their story with the group.

  4. Say thank you. The receiver accepts & takes this encouragement with them.

  5. Go forth with a new perspective & wisdom. Consider it a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you. Deuteronomy 23:5

Here’s to exchanging what we’ve learned.

The giving. The receiving. The reciprocating.

happy merry-making, friends!
