Nearly every time I listen to this song, tears fill my eyes. I don’t know if it’s the impact THIS VIDEO had on me from the beginning, or the combination of spirit moved words, but goodness.
Hallelujah, here below. It was inspired by Exodus 20:25 where God requests an alter be built of imperfect stones.
Hallelu (Let us praise) +jah (God). Together, it means: Praise the Lord. It’s a sacred Hebrew word that has remained in Hebrew because to translate it — would no longer bring the emphasis & meaning it does.
In the midst of all that is imperfect here on earth & in my life, this song makes me long for Heaven. I crave holiness.
Oh, what a wonderful day to come. When every knee bows before Your name. But we will not wait until it does. For here & now shall Your Kingdom reign.
