I’ve always been a beach gal. It’s the place I’ve learned to dig for glimpses of joy. Tumble in freedom. Fall out of handstands & create with my imagination. It’s where I’ve grown up riding waves on my yellow boogy board, eating chunks of seedless watermelon, & always having good conversation. It’s the place I held his hand for the first time. My scene for quiet & for fun. & always to dream. I can stand in the midst & I can walk along the shore. It’s the place we shared the news of our little lady. The spot I most like to scope out the stars. Enjoy pizza & Perrier. Sunrises & sunsets. The expanse of the sky. The expanse of the sea.
