2 Practical Ways to Move Forward In Your Health

WATER FIRST

Drink one to two tall glasses of water (8-16 oz.)

  • Before your morning tea or coffee.

  • Before or with each meal.

  • During your morning reading time.

  • Before or on your way to work.

  • With your vitamins.

Trust me. It’s a small habit that will guarantee you’ve consumed a good bit of your daily water intake before noon. The trick here is to tie it with an action that’s part of your daily routine!


ACTION STEP:

Start drinking more water! Keep your water bottle on hand & get ready to get in some extra steps with a few more trips to the bathroom. Don't worry! It’s good for you!

If you’d like to drink half of your body weight in ounces each day, go for it! It's a GREAT & highly suggested recommendation.

If you’d like to invest in a water bottle or fun colored drinking glass, I’m always in support of creating a fancy & refreshing experience.

Trying fruit infused recipes is certainly an option too! Cucumber, lemon, & mint is one of my favorite combinations.


Veggies Most

I try to see nutrition (& meal prep) as a learning experience. I try to see it as an opportunity to care for myself & my family – both our hearts & our bellies.

Health starts in our home. In our kitchen.

ACTION STEP:

Start eating more veggies today! Add them to your smoothie. Add them to your eggs. Increase the size of your salad!

Start making a list of the veggies you enjoy. Don’t worry if you don’t know what to do with them yet— I can help with this!

Start a food journal or tracker if you're serious. Record what you eat AND drink. The more detail you put in, the better. Knowledge is power! Tracking your food has the potential to play a BIG part in learning what works for YOU.
